A.O.Smith Commercial Light Duty Electric Water Heaters : XLD Series
The XLD Series are Commercial Light Duty Electric Floor Standing Water Heaters. These heating elements in these water heaters can work simultaneously providing 9 kW recovery capacity. These Water Heaters are manufactured in US and are UL Certified.

Technical Features:
Heating Element
Immersion heating element. Standard supplied with Incoloy element of 4.5 kW.
Thermostats
Surface mounted control thermostats with a temperature range from 48°C/120°F to maximum 77°C/170°F and hi-limit factory fixed setting at 88°C/190°F. Thermostats are accurate to ± 2.5°C/5°F.
Dip Tube
Diffuser dip tube carries incoming cold water from the top connection, to the bottom of the tank to minimize mixing with the hot water in the tank. Helps reduce lime and sediment buildup while maximizing hot water output. Made from long-lasting PEX cross-linked polymer.
Anode Rods
Our Coregard™ anode rods have a stainless steel core that extends the life of the anode rod allowing superior tank protection far longer than standard anode rods.
Drain Valve

Tank Material
The Internal pressure tank is constructed of heavy-duty carbon steel.
Pressure Rating
Maximum working pressure is rated at 150psi/10bar. Test pressure per UL 174 std is 300psi/20bar.
Temperature and Pressure Safety Relief Valve
Factory installed, side-mounted, CSA/ASME certified T&P safety relief valve is standard on all models.
Internal Coating
Specially developed commercial grade glass coating protects steel tank from corrosion and maximizes tank life.
Heat Traps
All models are equipped with factory installed heat traps on the inlet and outlet connections to improve energy efficiency
Code Compliance Code compliance meets the Federal Energy Efficiency Standards according to the 2004 edition of the National Appliance Energy Conservation Act (NAECA) of 1992 and
standby loss requirements of the U. S. Department of Energy and Current Edition of ASHRAE/IES 90.1.Comply with UL 174, GSO, PAI and IEC 60335-2-21.
Power Supply
The Water Heaters are suitable for operation on 3-Phase, 380-415 Volts and 50 Hz Power Supply.
